🌱Life is chaotic and random

Warning: very unserious rough draft/ramblings

Entropy basically means all things are barreling toward an irreversible state of thermodynamic equilibrium. I mention this concept in 🌱Thoughts on death.

In a system that is in its own state of internal thermodynamic equilibrium, not only is there an absence of macroscopic change, but there is an “absence of any tendency toward change on a macroscopic scale.

We aren't the final form for humans or any other life. We're still in the process of evolution. It's hard to picture just how long it took life to get to this point. The terms "millions" and "billions of years" are concepts too big for a person to even partially grasp. Kind of like thinking of the size of the universe.

Genghis Kan could have easily died from a tooth infection before all that...stuff happened, but he just didn't. But a random tooth infection could've prevented someone else from greatly impacting the world as we know it today.

You can't choose your parents. Brent the doctor studied hard to become a doctor, yes, but he also happened to be born into a nice family and in a place that made that possible.

Although I'm a professional complainer, I do count my blessings when I think about how my life could have been had I been born to different parents and lived somewhere else.
